ABOUT ME

Jessibel stepped on a stage for the first time at age three as a ballet dancer. She started taking acting classes at age five with the acclaimed acting coach Ofelia D'acosta in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Throughout her school years, she was the assigned master of ceremony for events and was a member of the school choir, oratory & theater groups. In her senior year in High School, she was the President of the theater club and the lead actress for school plays.

She pursued a Bachelor's degree in Performing Arts at the University of Puerto Rico. She quickly became a member of the acclaimed UPR Touring Theater led by the legendary Puerto Rican director Dean Zayas and became the lead actress for several plays.

She was the lead actress for la Villana de Vallecas, which represented Puerto Rico at the El Chamizal Spanish Golden Age Theater Festival in El Paso, Texas, and Mexico receiving outstanding reviews from critics. Later she would tour La Ruta de la Plata in Spain as lea actress in El Retablo Jovial.

Jessibel also holds Master's Degree in Dramatic Arts from Harvard University Extension School in Cambridge, Massachusetts. She has also trained at the New York Film Academy and Stella Adler Studio of Acting.

After participating in local projects, she was signed by the prestigious New England modeling agency Maggie Inc. and became a SAG-AFTRA member.  

She is active in the Boston theater scene and is passionate about telling latino stories. She has worked in projects with Huntington Theater, Boston Center for the Arts, Chelsea Theater Works, Newton Theater Company and Moonbox Productions amongst others.
